Same Founding Truths. He was known as "Dr. Christopher" to thousands of friends who used his unique herbal formulations as he traveled the world helping people. In the early 1900's, John struggled with childhood arthritis, hardening of the arteries and other problems that led doctors to declare he wouldn't live to age 30. Traditional doctors also gave up hope in finding relief for his mother who suffered with diabetes. A gentle and efficient man came to help, referring to himself as a Naturopathic doctor. Both were cured. From that moment on John dedicated himself to becoming that kind of doctor. Although accepted into law school, John chose to study with Iowa's Institute of Drugless Therapy and the L.A. Herbal Institute. After becoming the first practicing herbalist in the U. S. Army, John continued his serious quest and went on to create 66 unique herbal formulas. In 1953 he created the School of Natural Healing (still in operation), wrote five best selling books on health, and became a famed international lecturer, with speaking invitations at such prestigious places as England's Cambridge University. After a long and fruitful life, Dr. Christopher passed away from complications of a traumatic head injury at age 73. His legacy continues in the lives he touched while still alive and those his formulas will aid for generations to come.
